Maintenance Engineer

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the upkeep, maintenance, and management of all areas of the hotel, including energy conservation. You will use your leadership skills to inspire your team and provide a seamless guest experience every time.

Your role

The role requires someone who will be hands‑on with repair and general maintenance, meet deadlines, liaise with contractors, and take responsibility for health and safety on the property. The right candidate must be organised, a good communicator, and a hands‑on manager.

The core skills and experience required

• Highly self‑motivated, confident, decisive, and able to work with limited supervision
• Attention to the smallest details
• Good understanding of compliance in hospitality and hotels
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
• Results‑focused with a desire to succeed
• Knowledge of electrics and health and safety
• Computer literacy for the compliance and audit part of the role
