We are currently recruiting for an engaging and outgoing Barback / Drinks Runner to join our Truly Talented team.

Your role:
You will work closely with the food and beverage leadership team in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the Hotel and the satisfaction of guests. Responsibilities of Barback/Drinks Runner will include but are not limited to:
- Assisting with bar setup and breakdown before and after service.
- Restocking bar supplies like glassware, ice, garnishes, and mixers.
- Keeping bar area clean and organized, clearing empty glasses and debris.
- Preparing and slicing garnishes for cocktails.
- Supporting bartenders during busy hours with drink preparation and serving.
- Maintaining cleanliness in bar storage and refrigeration areas.
- Delivering beverages to customers promptly and maintain a friendly attitude.
- Ensuring adherence to safety, hygiene, and best practice standards throughout service.
The ideal person for this role will be enthusiastic about change, focused on details and trusting.
The core skills and experience required to succeed:
- Truly passionate about the Hospitality Industry
- Previous restaurant or bar experience in a busy environment is preferred but not essential
- Excellent personal presentation
- Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety procedures
- Ability to function independently with a minimum of supervision
- Excellent communication skills, the ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- To be an enthusiastic team player with a flexible approach
