We are currently recruiting for an engaging and outgoing Food & Beverage Bar Assistant - Day Shift to join our Truly Talented team.

Your role:

As a Food & Beverage Bar Assistant - Day Shift, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of service within the guidelines set by management and the department’s standard operating procedures. You will be responsible for setting up the bar, taking food and drink orders from guests accurately and charging correctly, as well as assisting with table clearing, food delivery, beverage preparation and delivery. You will be trained in all aspects of the role and have the opportunities to build on your food and beverage knowledge to know and understand the menus and offer food, wine, and beverage suggestions. You’ll work in a busy and hardworking team environment, where you’ll continually learn and develop. The core skills and experience required to succeed:

  • Truly passionate about the Hospitality Industry.
  • Previous bar or restaurant experience in a busy environment is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent personal presentation.
  • Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
  • Ability to function independently with a minimum of supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills, the ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • To be an enthusiastic team player with a flexible approach.
