About the role
Radis Community Care is currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to join a small, person-centred team supporting a young gentleman in the WR5 area of Worcester.
About the individual you’ll be supporting
You will be supporting a 25 year old gentleman with learning and physical disabilities. He enjoys watching films and television, and benefits from a calm supportive, and familiar routine.
Shift pattern
- Tuesday & Friday: 10:00am – 4:00pm
- Additional hours may become available in the future.
- Occasional weekends and overnight stays (ad hoc)
- You may also pick up extra shifts if you wish within our services in the area.
Responsibilities
- Providing companionship and support with daily activities
- Assisting with outings and engaging activities
- Light support with personal care if required
- Preparing drinks and meals (usually prepared by family in advance)
- Promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing at all times
- Working closely with family members to maintain consistency of care

- Experience in care is helpful but not essential – full training is provided
- Ability to work as a part of a small team
- A genuine interest in supporting individuals with additional needs
