Radis Community Care have an opportunity for a WAKING NIGHT 9PM TO 7AM Thursday and Friday night Support Worker to join our team based in Petypher House Extra Care Scheme in Abingdon Oxfordshire OX13
Petypher House is situated in Kingston Bagpuize village, approximately 6 miles from Abingdon. The development was built in 2016 and consists of 45 apartments, both 1 and 2 bedroom properties are available for rent, shared ownership and leasehold. The development boasts a number of facilities such as a hairdressing salon, restaurant, therapy room, IT room, cinema room and coordinated activities from bingo, knit and natter and IT classes.
Our carers strive to help people we support to retain as much independence as possible, for as long as possible and are on-site 24/7. Support is tailored to the needs of each person, provided within the comfort and privacy of their own flat and can range from a little help daily to support throughout the day and night time
The role will require you to assist people we support, with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing. You will have the opportunity to take part in physical and mental stimulation by taking part in recreational and social activities, both individually and as a group.
The role is to promote independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering the best standards of care.
Shift times 9pm-7am Thursday and Friday nights. extra hours available to cover holidays.
