About the role

  • Leading the care shift and dealing with any emergencies that arise on shift
  • Creating/updating Care Plans, Risk Assessments and other key documentation
  • Auditing documentation such as MAR Charts, Daily Diary Records etc
  • Completing staff rotas to ensure each shift is adequately staffed
  • Completing quality monitoring checks such as spot checks, carers assessments & reviews
  • Liaising with other Health Professions such as Doctors, District Nurses etc.

About Dorothy Terry House

Dorothy Terry House in Redditch was formerly a Victorian mansion house which has been completely redeveloped. It now offers 42 modern and highly specified one and two bedroom apartments. Residents enjoy a range of on‑site services, including a lounge, restaurant, hairdressing salon, library and regular activities, groups and classes. Providing support to those 55+ and above with a range of different health conditions; however, Dorothy Terry House particularly specialises in supporting those who live with Dementia.

About You

  • Be able to work the following shift patterns 7am-2pm & 2pm-10pm including alternate weekends
  • Be willing to take part in an on-call rota
  • Worked in the Health & Social Care sector for a minimum of 2 years
  • Be a caring individual who is passionate about putting the client first and ensuring we provide an Outstanding service we would want our own families to receive.
  • Have the Right To Work in the UK (Please note that we are unable to provide sponsorship for this role)
