Radis Community Care are looking for a Full Time Support worker to join the Radis Team at Lavendar View, Hunstanton. A new Independent Living scheme in Hunstanton is due to open in September 2026. Extra care enables Customers to live independently in their own contemporary apartment, with the reassurance of on-site care and support facilities. Lavendar View has 61 one and two bedroom apartments designed to help local residents to retain as much independence and control over their lives as possible. This is a Full Time position, 50/50 Care and Admin, including a mixture of Shifts and Office Hours (9am - 5pm). 37.5 hours, per week, contract.

About the role

As a Team Leader in our Extra Care Scheme, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care by overseeing care packages and supporting both people we support and Radis Staff. This role requires strong leadership, flexibility, and a commitment to upholding dignity, choice, and respect in every aspect of care delivery. You will:

  • Be the first point of contact for care packages, offering supervision, support, and guidance to Radis Staff through regular meetings and check-ins.
  • Schedule and allocate care tasks, ensuring that care plans - including personal care and medication - are followed accurately in a manner that is specific to the People we support.
  • Support people directly with personal care, medication, and community-based activities when needed.
  • Take part in the on-call rota and provide emergency cover for care-related support as required.

Skills and Qualifications required for the role

  • Previous experience as a Team Leader will be desirable but not essential.
  • The successful candidate will have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care working towards Level 3, or happy to gain the qualification.
  • You will have good written and verbal communication skills and have a willingness to learn in line with the people we support's needs and expectations.
  • This role requires you to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
  • A driving license with access to a vehicle will be desirable but not essential.
