Radis Community Care have an opportunity for a compassionate and skilled Deputy Care Manager (Extra Care) to join our team at Hartfields Retirement Village Extra Care scheme in Hartlepool.

About the role

As a Deputy Manager you will support the Service Manager with:

  • Operational & Service Delivery Oversight - Growth ensuring the service is viable - Gross margin and contribution meet the specified requirements.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance
  • Supporting adherence to CQC standards, safeguarding legislation, and health & safety.
  • Staff Leadership & Development
  • Supervision of care and support teams; assisting with rostering, induction, training and performance, promoting staff wellbeing and modelling best practice in person-centred care.
  • Resident, Family & Stakeholder Liaison
  • Building trusting relationships with residents, families and next of kin; addressing concerns, feedback and complaints promptly; communicating with social workers, health professionals and scheme partners to coordinate joined-up support.
  • Administrative, Financial & Governance Support
  • Managing resident records, documentation, and scheme data, supporting with budget monitoring, stock control, income/expenditure, KPI's tracking and contract compliance, ensuring systems are accurate and audit ready.

Requirements

  • Expected qualifications - NVQ 3 preferred. Working towards or prepared to be registered onto Level 5
  • Minimum experience required – experience in extra care preferred.

Additional Requirements:
