Radis Community Care have an opportunity for a Team Leader to join our team based at Diamond Batch, Weston Super Mare, BS24 7FY. At this time, we are unable to provide sponsorship for this role.

About the Role

As a Team Leader in our Extra Care Service, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality support to people living independently within their own homes in the extra care complex. Our approach emphasizes understanding and responding to the unique needs of each individual, helping them maintain their independence while ensuring their well-being.

You will be the first point of contact for the care and support provided, with responsibilities including:

  • Conducting supervisions, team meetings, and mentoring Support Workers to ensure the highest standard of care.
  • Coordinating schedules and allocating tasks to maintain personalized support plans for each person.
  • Supporting people with daily living activities such as medication, mobility, and personal care when needed.
  • Building positive relationships within the extra care community.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year in a Team Leader / Senior role.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care required, with a willingness to work toward Level 3.

  • A proactive attitude, with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the people we support.

Additional Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
  • A driving license and access to a vehicle are advantageous as occasional travel may be required.
