Are you a caring individual living in the Reading area looking for a role where you can give back to those living in your community? We are recruiting Support Workers to join our team at Huntley Place.
Located in Reading, Berkshire, Huntley Place has 73 apartments designed to help local residents aged 55 and over retain as much independence and control over their lives as possible. Residents benefit from easy access to nearby shops and restaurants and can enjoy social pursuits in a safe and secure environment, with on-site facilities including a communal lounge, dining room, laundry, guest facilities, garden, activities room, and hairdressing salon.
What will I be doing as a Support Worker?
As a Support Worker, you will work with residents to live independently within the service and local community by:
- Supporting with personal care tasks including washing, dressing, etc.
- Supporting with medication administration
- Supporting with meal preparation
- Supporting with accessing the local community, e.g., shopping, activities, trips
- Supporting with day-to-day household duties
- Supporting with any other daily routines our clients have

Shift Patterns
The successful candidate can work the following shifts, including alternate weekends:
- 07:00 – 14:30
- 07:00 – 13:00
- 14:30 – 22:00
