About the role
Radis Community Care is currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to join a small, person-centred team supporting a client in the Upton area. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys building meaningful one-to-one support relationships and providing consistent, respectful care that promotes independence and quality of life.
About the individual you’ll be supporting
You will be supporting a client who requires hoisting, PEG feed, and some other nursing tasks. All training will be provided.
Shift pattern
- Times of care visits: 9:30am-11:30pm, and 3pm-5pm
- 4 hour social call once a week on Mondays
- Alternating weekends
- You may also pick up extra shifts if you wish within our services in the area
Responsibilities
- Providing companionship and support
- Support with personal care including hoisting
- Preparing drinks and meals
- Promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing at all times
- Working closely with family members to maintain consistency of care
