Radis Community Care have an opportunity for Bank Support Workers covering 7am-2pm or 2pm-10pm, alternate weekends to join our team based in The Paddocks in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire. The Paddocks provides a mix of 44 one and two-bedroom apartments with many on-site facilities including a hair salon, post office, restaurant and therapy room. Residents can participate in a number of regular activities such as movie evenings, curling, bingo and more.
Our carers strive to help residents to retain as much independence as possible, for as long as possible and are on-site 24/7. Care is tailored to the needs of each person, provided within the comfort and privacy of their own flat and can range from a little help daily to support throughout the day and night time.
As a Support Worker in our Extra Care Scheme you will be supporting people who are over the age of 55 enabling them to maintain their independence. The role will require you to assist residents with personal care activities or light domestic tasks. You will have the opportunity to take part in physical and mental stimulation by taking part in recreational and social activities, both individually and as a group. The role is to promote independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering the best standard of care.
