Radis Community Care are looking for a Full Time Senior Carer / Team Leader to join our team based in Cambridge, CB4 3EY. This is a Full Time position, 50/50 Care and Admin, including a mixture of Shifts and Office Hours (9am - 5pm). 37.5 hours, per week, contract. At this present time, we are unable to consider Sponsorship for this role.
About the role
As a Team Leader in our Extra Care Scheme, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care by overseeing care packages and supporting both people we support and Radis Staff. This role requires strong leadership, flexibility, and a commitment to upholding dignity, choice, and respect in every aspect of care delivery.
You will:
- Be the first point of contact for care packages, offering supervision, support, and guidance to Radis Staff through regular meetings and check-ins.
- Schedule and allocate care tasks, ensuring that care plans—including personal care and medication—are followed accurately in a manner that is specific to the People we support.
- Support people directly with personal care, medication, and community-based activities when needed.
- Take part in the on-call rota and provide emergency cover for care-related support as required.

Skills and Qualifications required for the role
- Previous experience as a Team Leader will be desirable but not essential.
- The successful candidate will have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care working towards Level 3, or happy to gain the qualification.
- You will have good written and verbal communication skills and have a willingness to learn in line with the people we support's needs and expectations.
- This role requires you to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
- A driving license with access to a vehicle will be desirable but not essential.
