Radis Community Care has an opportunity for a Senior Support Worker/ Team Leader to join our Supported Living service in Bradford and Huddersfield. As a Team Leader, you will provide support in our Supported Living Services, offering specialised person-centred support. Radis recognises each person as an individual and provides a unique service tailored to their specific needs.

You will work alongside the Managers of our Supported Living Services, overseeing the smooth running of these services, completing regular audits, checks, supervisions, spot checks, updating and reviewing support plans, and ensuring that individuals achieve their outcomes. The role will require you to schedule and allocate work to the Support Workers, support with medication, personal care tasks, and cover shifts within the services. The hours are split between care hours and office hours, including alternate weekends. Office hours are based in our office in Bradford, and a driver is required with use of their own vehicle.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day running of Supported Living Services in Bradford and Huddersfield.
  • Complete regular audits, checks, supervisions, and spot checks.
  • Update and review support plans and work with individuals to achieve their outcomes.
  • Schedule and allocate work to Support Workers; support with medication and personal care tasks.
  • Cover shifts within the services as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Previous experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health issues.
  • Previous experience as a Team Leader is essential.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, working towards Level 3.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and a willingness to learn in line with clients’ needs and expectations.
  • Drivers required due to localities.
