Radis Community Care have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join our team based in Leominster at our supported living service called Pump Piece. We care for a range of service users including the elderly and for people with physical and/or learning disabilities. Tailored to meet our service user's individual needs, our care ranges from brief daily visits to 24-hour live-in care and can either be short or long-term.

About the role: As a Team Leader you will provide support to our extra care complex, providing specialised support to individuals. Radis recognise each person as an individual and provide a unique service which is tailored to their specific needs and provide a consistent approach throughout their life.
You will be the first point of contact for the package, providing supervisions/meetings and support to the Care Workers. The role will require you to schedule/allocate work to the Care Workers ensuring personal care and all care tasks are client specific. You will also support with medication, personal care tasks and offer support within the community. You will also be required to participate in the on-call rota and provide cover for care and Radis' housing related support duties when emergency cover is required.

Skills and Qualifications required for the role: Previous experience as a Team Leader will be advantageous but not essential. The successful candidate will have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care working towards Level 3. You will have good written and verbal communication skills and have a willingness to learn in line with clients' needs and expectations. This role requires you to undergo an enhanced DBS check. A driving licence with access to a vehicle will also be advantageous as some travel may be required for the role.
