Radis Community Care are looking for a Part Time Support Worker to join the Radis Team at Saxon House, Loddon. Located in Loddon, Norfolk, Saxon House has 37 one and two bedroom apartments designed to help local residents retain as much independence and control over their lives as possible. This will be a mix of morning and late shifts, alternate weekends, plus sickness and annual leave cover, amounting to 20 - 25 hours per week.
About the role
As a Support Worker in our Extra Care Scheme, your primary responsibility is to assist elderly individuals who are experiencing physical frailty, helping them maintain as much independence as possible. This includes supporting people with restricted mobility by aiding them in moving safely to dining areas for meals, communal spaces for social engagement, and back to the privacy of their own rooms when requested. The role will require you to assist people with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, and dressing. You will have the opportunity to take part in physical and mental stimulation by engaging in recreational and social activities with individuals and groups. The core aim of this role is to promote independence, choice, dignity, and respect, consistently delivering care to the highest standard.
