Radis Community Care is looking for a Part Time Support Worker to join the Extra Care Scheme at The Cannons in Essex. This role will involve morning and late shifts, alternative weekends, as well as sickness and annual leave cover for a minimum of 16 hours per week.
As a Support Worker in our Extra Care Scheme, your primary responsibility is to assist elderly individuals who are experiencing physical frailty, helping them maintain as much independence as possible. You will support residents with restricted mobility by aiding them in moving safely to dining areas, communal spaces for social engagement, and back to their rooms when requested. The role also includes assisting with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing.
You will take part in physical and mental stimulation by engaging residents in recreational and social activities individually and as a group. The core aim of this role is to promote independence, choice, dignity and respect, consistently delivering care to the highest standard.
