Radis Community Care is looking for a newly qualified trainee IT Support Technician to join our team at our head office in Tamworth. The role involves first- and second-line support for a small team of five, with escalation to third-line teams as needed. We seek someone who has recently qualified in this field and is eager to build experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Independent problem solving
  • Proactive support
  • Collaboration when help is needed
  • Maintaining the IT asset register
  • Lifting IT equipment
  • Cabling and networking
  • Using your own vehicle with a valid UK driving licence

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handle and resolve helpdesk tickets to SLA
  • Provide Windows desktop support
  • Create, maintain, and delete user accounts
  • Handle starter and leaver requests
  • Set up email accounts on MS Exchange
  • Manage mobile phones and tablets (iOS) remotely and on site
  • Coordinate with telephony providers to order mobile phones and numbers
  • Occasional visits to other sites for installations and support

Skills Required:

  • Windows troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Office 365 troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Qualified to a degree level in ICT or computer studies

  • Personable manner, good with people, quick learner
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

Travel may be required to other sites throughout England and Wales. Full clean UK driving licence and own transport are essential.
