About the role
You will need to be a driver with your own transport (car, motorcycle, moped etc) - the work is not suited to non-drivers. As a Support Worker - Community you will provide care/support to the people we support living independently in their own homes, that is flexible and responsive to their needs. This can include assisting them with daily living tasks, personal care and hygiene, light meal preparation and domestic tasks and medication - this will mean you’ll understand the importance of privacy and dignity – so important to everyone. You will also work with Adult Learning Disability service users – and receive enhanced pay for these calls. And always with a kind smile and a supportive word, even when sometimes a day is challenging!
