Radis Community Care has an opportunity for an Evening Field Care Supervisor (Drivers Only) to join our team based in Chepstow.
You will need to be a driver with your own transport (car, motorcycle, moped, E-Bike, etc.) – the work is not suited to non-drivers.
About the role
As a Field Supervisor, you will work a mix of mornings, afternoons, and evenings to complete monitoring tasks such as reviews, spot checks, and carer assessments, as well as completing risk assessments, MAR charts, and support plans.
You will be the face of Radis working in the community, ensuring people stay in the home they love. You will also work with the NHS, social services, GPs, and other health professionals to meet our clients\’ needs.
There will be a requirement to participate in on-call duties, which occur once every four weeks.
You would also be expected to work every other weekend.
All supervisor hours are paid at an enhanced hourly rate. Any care provided is paid at our standard care rate, with additional paid travel time between visits and paid mileage. When on call, you will receive an on-call payment.
Skills and qualifications required
- At least 1 year of experience in health and social care
- An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, working towards Level 3
- Ability to maintain high standards of quality and professionalism
- Good written and verbal communication skills to engage with staff, service users, and outside agencies
- Must undergo an enhanced DBS check
- A valid driving license and access to a vehicle are required
