Radis Community Care have an opportunity for a Regional Manager - Supported Living Services for our South, Central, Wales & Southwest regions.

About the role

As a Regional Manager, you will get the opportunity to work across several operational areas to assist to support the Head of Supported Living Services and preserve their interests in the running of CQC registered branches, services and projects for Radis. You will provide strategic and operational leadership across defined regions, overseeing the performance, compliance, and development of services in England and Wales. You will ensure the highest standards of care and support, drive sustainable and business growth, and uphold all regulatory and legal obligations. You will manage and support the Area Managers & Service Managers, as directed by the Head of Supported Living Services, to ensure Branches, Schemes and Registered Care Homes achieve the objectives agreed in their business plans and work within their budgets. You will ensure that our branches and services are displaying, promoting and upholding Radis values at all times. You will promote a caring environment for the people we support through high standards of professional practice which are conducive to the multiple needs of the people we support and ensure each person we support receives care appropriate to their needs.

You will implement the requirements of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 and Care Quality Commission (Registration) Regulations 2009 (England) or Social Services and Well-Being (Wales) Act 2014, Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016 and The Regulated Services (Service Providers and Responsible Individuals) (Wales) Regulations 2017.

Skills and Qualifications required for the role:

  • Ideally, we are looking for someone with proven regional/senior area management experience.
  • Experience of holding a similar role within Health & Social Care
  • Working knowledge of working within a regulated business
  • Demonstrable commercial thinking skills and sound business acumen
  • Strong relationship builder with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise a busy workload and respond swiftly to challenges.
  • A sound geographical understanding of Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Oxfordshire, Herefordshire, Warwickshire, Coventry, Nuneaton, Reading, North Somerset and South Wales.
  • You must be able to drive and have your own vehicle with a full, clean Driving Licence.
