We are looking for a Live in Care worker to provide care for a gentleman with a spinal injury in his own home in Devon.
About the role:
The Care worker will be living with the gentleman in his own home in Devon from 4 weeks up to long term. The hours are roughly 10 to 12 hours of care per day with 2 hours break daily for the staff member to have their own time. Also, weekly regular breaks are provided.
More and more people are wanting to remain in their own homes, with their loved ones and precious memories and surroundings. At Radis, we try to make this a reality for as many individuals as possible with the support of passionate Care Workers making a difference to the lives of those they care for.
Requirements:
- Previous care experience, ideally at least 6 months and live-in care experience.
- Comprehensive training will be provided.
- This role is supported by our Community Lead nurses, who offer training and support throughout.
- The ideal candidate will be a caring and trustworthy person, who is able to support people in their own home with day-to-day living including personal care, support with medication, and household tasks.
- They will be able to support with appointments and support in the community.
- The ideal candidate will be able to follow and support with Person-centred plans and amend when needed.
- They will also be able to support family members if needed and be able to communicate effectively with family members.
What we offer:
- Comprehensive ongoing training as part of our nurse-led service and regular online training.
- Intensive training for medical requirements if the service user needs them.
- Full support and guidance from our experienced Live-in care team, who are available to speak to when needed.

- The monthly rates of pay vary depending on the service user's requirements, ranging from £3,438.40 to £4,813.76 before tax. Self-employed Care Workers are also welcome.
