The predicted salary is between 60000 - 80000 £ per year.

Responsible for strategic procurement, category, and alliance management with third‑party organizations to enable the development and commercialization of Beckman Coulter’s diagnostic products. This role is part of the Strategic Procurement Team and will be remote.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies for TPO suppliers, components, sub‑assemblies, and finished goods supporting new product development and throughout the product life cycle.
  • Act as the primary strategic procurement interface for European entities and suppliers, fostering deep collaboration to drive innovation and ensure long‑term value.
  • Lead and execute advanced negotiations for TPO contracts, including pricing, intellectual property, quality, and supply agreements, to secure optimal commercial terms and mitigate risk.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D, Commercial, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to integrate supplier capabilities and ensure seamless NPI project execution and market readiness.
  • Identify, evaluate, and qualify new strategic TPO partners aligned with NPI project requirements and Beckman Coulter’s future technology roadmaps.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management for manufacturing or diagnostics environments.
  • Strong negotiation, cross‑functional partnership, and risk management skills.
  • Knowledge of the life‑sciences or diagnostics industry preferred.

Preferred Experience

  • Global procurement experience across multiple international regions.
  • A business degree or advanced certification such as CPMS.
  • Direct P&L exposure or experience working closely with commercial teams.
