Responsible for driving global product management across the full ABL90 lifecycle—from early innovation to end-of-life. The role contributes to Radiometer’s growth and market position by translating Voice of Customer (VoC), clinical insights, and market dynamics into clear product strategies, business cases, and portfolio decisions that deliver long-term value in acute care diagnostics. This position reports to the Director, Global Product Management ABL90 and is part of the Global Product & Portfolio Management team.
In This Role
- Shape and execute product strategy for the ABL90 portfolio, including defining scope, parameters, and solution direction.
- Translate customer, clinical, and market insights into product requirements and new clinical applications.
- Develop business cases and pricing strategies to support investment and portfolio decisions.
- Lead global go-to-market strategies, including value propositions, positioning, and commercial enablement.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Medical Affairs, Project Management, Marketing, and regional teams.
- Monitor and optimize portfolio performance through KPIs, revenue tracking, and margin analysis.
- Support demand forecasting, supply planning, and continuous improvement using DBS tools and data-driven processes.
Essential Requirements
- Master’s degree in engineering, Life Sciences, Biomedical, or Business/Economics (or equivalent experience).
- Long-standing product management experience within in vitro diagnostics, medical devices, or closely related healthcare technology.
- Demonstrated experience leading product development projects and global or regional product launches, including go-to-market planning.
- Proven experience developing business cases, pricing strategies, and managing portfolio economics (e.g., revenue, margins, growth).
- Demonstrated track record of leading cross-functional product initiatives across global R&D, commercial, and clinical organizations.
Travel Requirements
- Ability to travel internationally, including customer site visits, subsidiary support, and industry events.
Preferred Experience
- Advanced degree (PhD or MBA) in healthcare technology, product management, or market strategy.
- Experience in acute care / point-of-care diagnostics, ideally within IVD and with knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., IVDR, FDA 510(k)).
- Experience with Danaher Business System (DBS) or similar lean / continuous improvement methodologies.
