We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Product Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support local and/or global projects using Visual Project and Daily Management tools to ensure on-time and on-cost project delivery.
• Instigate and lead direct cross-functional communications within Cytiva and with suppliers and customers.
• Generate ideas for Global Kaizen Funnel and apply problem-solving tools to resolve technically challenging complex problems with innovative solutions.
• Lead or facilitate Kaizen events.
• May include New Product Introduction, creating and challenging project requirements for new product designs while fostering innovation and sustainability.
• Product, process and equipment validation involving validating testing plans and data review, test regimes based on knowledge and experience.
• Work with initiative and prioritization while maintaining a cross-functional team approach.
• May have leadership responsibilities for a small team and mentor team members within the local Product Engineering team.

Qualifications

• You are action oriented with an analytical mindset and focus on optimizing work processes.
• Ability to lead and collaborate across teams within Cytiva, Pall or external entities to build trusted relationships.
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships, partnerships or networks to achieve goals.
• Understanding of product performance and developing robust, repeatable processes aligned with requirements.
• Ability to incorporate multiple inputs to establish shared ownership and effective action.
• Proactive achievement mindset, bias for action, and willingness to take initiative.
• Ability to travel globally where and when required.
• Desirable qualifications: recognized engineering certificate/degree or equivalent with experience in product development or manufacturing; knowledge of chemistry or polymer science; familiarity with multiple software platforms, procedures, and techniques relevant to this function; knowledge of process validation procedures and techniques (IQ, OQ, PQ) for new products, processes, and equipment; fluency in English.
