The Product Data Specialist applies product data expertise and bioscience research experience to guide projects and standard work that improve customer outcomes. Acting as a strategic liaison between digital teams and commercial stakeholders, this role drives growth, operational efficiencies and customer satisfaction. This position reports to the Senior Product Data Specialist and is part of the Antibody Solutions Product Data Team. The role is based in Cambridge, UK and requires an on‑site presence.

Responsibilities

  • Be an expert in how product data processes are executed throughout the technical landscape and in meeting mandatory data requirements.
  • Collaborate with digital teams to inform project prioritization and support user acceptance testing (UAT) of related systems.
  • Represent the product data function in customer feedback workstreams, directly addressing feedback and implementing changes that positively affect researchers, including website developments.
  • Support the development, documentation, training, and continuous improvement of global standard operating procedures (SOPs) for product data integration processes to ensure consistency, quality, and scalability.
  • Support the product data integration team with complex, high‑impact, or large‑scale item creation and maintenance tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a science‑related field or equivalent experience with laboratory exposure.
  • Familiarity with data models or system‑based data structures used to manage complex products or scientific information.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency and experience using SQL or similar tools for reporting, validation, or investigation of data issues.
  • Experience working with SaaS solutions such as Oracle, PIMcore, Qualtrics.
  • Experience partnering with scientific, product, and digital stakeholders to translate business needs into clear, prioritized data requirements.

Additional Experience (Optional)

  • Supporting software or system implementation and maintenance initiatives, including testing, SOP development, training, and launch readiness.
  • Customer‑facing roles in life sciences (e.g., technical support, field application specialist).
  • Applying project management practices to cross‑functional or system change initiatives.

Travel & Physical Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of time as business dictates.
