Looking for a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same? SPX Radiodetection in Bristol is seeking a proactive and organised Service Dispatch Operative to join our busy and friendly Service team.
This is a physical, practical role ideal for someone who enjoys getting stuck in whether that\’s loading goods, supporting customers, or helping our technicians behind the scenes. Its a great opportunity for someone internal or external whos looking to develop within a growing business.
What you\’ll be doing:
- Acting as the first point of contact for visitors and customers in the service area
- Booking in and dispatching goods accurately using ERP/MRP systems
- Cleaning products prior to service some dirty work involved!
- Helping to manage stock and keep stores tidy and organised
- Working closely with our service and warehouse teams to support technicians and ensure smooth daily operations
- Liaising with couriers and customers to manage incoming/outgoing deliveries
- Loading/unloading boxes this is a physical role, so you\’ll need to be comfortable lifting
- Keeping track of materials and packaging supplies
- Supporting broader operations tasks as needed
What were looking for:
- Previous experience in warehouse, dispatch, or materials control
- IT literate, with knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (IFS experience a bonus)
- Confident communicator with good organisational skills
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload
- Forklift experience is a bonus (but not essential)
- A team player happy to work across departments
What youll get:
- Salary of £25,000£27,000 depending on experience
- A full-time, permanent role with no weekend work
