As part of SPX Technologies, Radiodetection is a global leader in the design and development of equipment and software used by utility companies to install, protect, and maintain underground infrastructure networks.
Through precision and magnetic locators and ground penetrating radar, we help prevent damage to infrastructure utilities and protect lives.
This is a hands‑on leadership role where you'll work across Engineering, Operations and Manufacturing Partners to improve product performance, optimise manufacturing and transform our product testing capability.
What You'll Do
- Lead a small Production Engineering team with scope to grow your responsibilities.
- Own production engineering and product test activities across an established product portfolio.
- Develop and improve product test specifications and physical test environments.
- Work with external manufacturing partners to resolve technical issues and improve performance.
- Drive continuous improvement across quality, manufacturability and production efficiency.
- Support NPI projects while enhancing existing products already in production.
- What You'll Bring
- Production, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering experience within an OEM or product‑based business.
- Experience developing or managing product testing and validation.
- Strong problem‑solving and continuous improvement skills.
- Experience working with manufacturing partners and introducing products into production.
- Leadership experience—or the ambition to take the next step into an engineering management role.
