We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Radio Advertising Executive to join our team, operating across two vibrant radio stations:
- Beyond Radio – An independent community FM station serving Lancaster & Morecambe Bay
- Central Radio North West – A commercial DAB station covering Blackpool, Wyre, Fylde, Preston, Leyland, Chorley, Blackburn, Accrington & Burnley
As our new sales executive, you’ll be responsible for generating advertising and sponsorship revenue for both stations. This is a remote-based position, but travel across Lancashire is required to meet clients and attend station events.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively source leads and build relationships with businesses across the region
- Sell a range of advertising solutions including:
- Programme and feature sponsorship
- Website advertising
In addition, you will be comfortable;
- Maintain an up-to-date CRM of leads and sales activity
- Represent the stations professionally in client meetings and networking opportunities
- Achieve agreed sales targets and KPIs
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in sales (radio/media sales is highly desirable)
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated, target-driven and able to manage your own time
Comfortable using CRM systems to manage and track sales
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within Lancashire

Performance related bonus: this is a target carrying role with performance based bonuses. Full OTE = double base salary, with the ability to over achieve.
This role is subject to a 3 month probationary period, and sales based targets.
