The Role

We are seeking a passionate and confident Radio Presenter to join our growing team. The successful candidate will host live or pre-recorded shows, create compelling content, and actively engage with our local audience across radio and digital platforms. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on creativity, community connection, and live broadcasting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Present live and/or pre-recorded radio shows
  • Plan and produce engaging content tailored to our target audience
  • Conduct interviews with guests, local organisations, and community figures
  • Write and deliver news bulletins (temporarily), features, and links
  • Operate studio equipment and broadcasting software
  • Engage with listeners via social media and on-air interaction
  • Contribute to station events, promotions, and outside broadcasts
  • Ensure compliance with broadcasting standards and station policies

Person Specification

Essential:

  • Confident and clear communication skills
  • Strong interest in radio and media
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
