Company Overview: Radiant is redefining how AI infrastructure is built. We design and operate AI-native cloud platforms engineered for sovereignty, performance, and scale. Our infrastructure powers GPU-native workloads, multi-tenant control planes, and high-performance AI systems designed for the most demanding environments. We are not building a generic cloud. We are building purpose‑built AI infrastructure — from powered land, to compute, to software. As we scale, we’re building this organisation from the ground up. We’re looking for people who’d rather build the playbook than inherit one — who are comfortable doing the work themselves as well as directing others, and who can adapt as fast as our strategy does. This is a startup model: attitude and adaptability matter more to us than years of experience or the size of team you’ve previously managed. This is a cross‑functional role requiring strong technical, commercial, and delivery capabilities, with exposure to executive stakeholders and site contractors, regional EHS managers, and every Project Director relying on one safety and quality standard.
What You’ll Do: You’ll set Radiant’s safety and quality standard and get on planes to sites to apply it yourself; this isn’t a policy-writing role, it’s a be-on-site, catch-the-problem-before-it-happens role, at least until the team grows. You’ll also embed health and safety requirements into outgoing RFPs and contractor responses.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Write Radiant’s EHS and quality standards and inspection/ITP methodology from scratch.
- Personally audit sites and contractor safety performance, not just review reports.
- Run incident investigation and lessons-learned directly in the early stages.
- Recruit regional EHS managers as the portfolio grows, while continuing to be hands‑on at site level yourself.
- Expect to hire a Document Controller as document volume grows into the thousands — not needed from day one.
What You Bring: Hands‑on EHS or quality management experience on construction or industrial sites, ideally data centres or similarly complex builds. Comfort travelling to sites regularly and getting into the detail yourself. A standard-setter’s mindset; you’ll be helping in writing the rulebook, not just enforcing someone else’s. We value a safety-first instinct and hands‑on attitude over a specific certification.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
- NEBOSH or equivalent EHS qualification.
- Experience across both European and US health & safety regulatory regimes.
- Quality management (ISO 9001 or similar) experience.
Qualities we look for:
- Set the standard: Every single day, you spot opportunities to constructively shake things up.
- Inspire the change: There’s no blueprint for the future. You’ll embrace challenges and change.
- You’re real and you’re true to yourself: We cherish and celebrate diversity so you’ll feel right at home whoever you are and whoever you’re talking to, you treat everyone the same.
- Get stuck in: You’d rather be building than overseeing. Our strategy will keep evolving, and so will you — attitude and adaptability matter more to us than a fixed playbook or a big team behind you.
