BSL to English & English to BSL communication with colleagues at the post room.

BSL to English & English to BSL communication with colleagues on postal deliveries.

Interpreting phone calls.

Written English translation.

English proof-reading.

Interpreting meetings etc.

Assist with Receiving Mail at the post room.

Assist with the delivery of Mail around client working areas.

Movement around camp whilst delivering Mail is conducted in a Van (So happy to be a passenger in vehicle).

Assist with further development opportunities for the Post room staff.

Key requirements:

  • Ability to work ad hoc.
  • Qualification BSL Interpreter Level 6.
  • Registered with either NRCPD or RBSL.
  • National Registers of Communication Professionals working with deaf and deafblind people.
  • Regulatory Body for Sign Language Interpreters & Translators.
  • Proof of Professional Indemnity Insurance & DBS within the last 3 years.
