Business Head at Radiant Systems Europe Ltd | Leading Team Management Initiatives
📍 Field Based – Castleford, UK (occasional office visits)
We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join our team on a 12-month contract, leading strategic partnerships with some of the UK’s top national retailers. This is a field‑based position, with travel to our Ridings Point office in Castleford a couple of times per month for sales and marketing meetings.
What You’ll Be Doing
Strategic Account Leadership
- Own and grow relationships with major grocery, high street, and discount retail customers
- Act as senior escalation point for customer opportunities and issues
- Lead execution of JBPs, CPIs, and commercial agreements
- Own annual sales targets and drive revenue growth across account portfolio
- Manage forecasting, budgets, and overall commercial performance
- Negotiate trade terms to deliver mutual value and long‑term success
- Champion brand growth, distribution improvements, and performance initiatives
Team Management
- Lead and develop a team of Key Account Managers
- Build a collaborative, high‑performing culture aligned to business objectives
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Partner with marketing, trade marketing, customer solutions and OTC leadership
- Represent the OTC team in senior commercial forums and strategic initiatives
Market Insight & Innovation
- Track competitor trends and market shifts to identify new opportunities
- Promote innovation and continuous improvement in account strategies
What You Will Bring
- Significant experience in senior National Account Management within FMCG or OTC
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation excellence
- Proven success executing JBPs and managing major UK retail accounts
- Leadership capabilities with a track record of team coaching and development
- Ability to build strong relationships with senior internal/external stakeholders
- Analytical mindset with data‑driven decision‑making skills
- Resilience and adaptability in a fast‑moving environment
