About the Role

We are seeking Registered Building Inspectors (Class 3H) to join our team on a contract basis. This is a great opportunity to contribute your expertise to shaping policy, technical standards, and guidance related to building control, building regulations, and Duty Holder compliance under the new regulatory regime.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice to inform regulatory frameworks and operational guidance, particularly around Gateway decisions, golden thread information, and occupation stage duties.
• Offer specialist building control expertise to multi-disciplinary teams for Gateway 2 applications, Safety Case Report assessments, and investigations/enforcement cases.
• Support the development and review of building control policies, standards, and guidance.
• Contribute to technical policy discussions and assist both internal and external stakeholders at relevant meetings.

Requirements

• Registered Building Inspector (Class 3H).
• Strong knowledge of building control, building regulations, and compliance obligations.
• Experience working with Gateway processes and golden thread requirements.

Ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams and provide clear technical advice.
