We are looking for a Planning Technician to support the Planning Service across Planning Policy, Development Management, Street Naming & Numbering, and Planning Enforcement. This role involves providing technical and administrative support to ensure efficient planning operations and excellent customer service.
- Register, validate, and process planning applications
- Support planning systems, databases, and GIS mapping tools
- Manage planning enquiries via shared mailboxes and public consultations
- Calculate planning application fees and process payments
- Assist with street naming & numbering processes and planning data management
Experience in administrative processes within planning or local government.
Knowledge of planning procedures, GIS systems, and planning legislation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems.
