About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Production Planning Manager to coordinate and manage the supply of BFS finished products across global markets. This is a fast-paced, high-impact role acting as the key link between site operations and the global supply chain, ensuring smooth product flow, optimised planning, and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead production planning and scheduling to ensure timely supply of BFS products
- Act as the main contact between global supply chain and site operations
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to support manufacturing, packaging, and product release
- Develop and optimise packaging strategies and supply plans
- Manage export shipments and documentation for global customers
- Maintain and improve ERP/SAP planning data and processes
- Monitor inventory, service levels, and performance metrics
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks
- Prepare reports and planning data for senior leadership reviews
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in production planning / supply chain management
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Knowledge of MRP / MRPII and lean supply chain principles
- Ability to manage complex schedules and multiple stakeholders
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in a regulated environment (e.g. FDA/pharma) is desirable
- Proven ability to influence and coordinate teams without direct authority
