Main purpose of the role: The purpose of this multi-functional role is to operate within the main warehouse and site B.
The logistic operator will process and coordinate deliveries; ensure production needs are met throughout BFS (Blow Fill Seal) and PFS (pre-filled syringe) by picking/replenishing components and product in a timely manner; and plan/prepare goods inwards/outward movements to meet operational and customer needs and regulatory requirements.
Contribute to the efficient running of the warehouse conveyor system, clearing any basic blockages and recording discrepancies using the relevant ADRs and log books.
Key responsibilities: Required process goods inward transactions and movements, including document completion.
Understand the BFS/PFS operational plan and pick, replenish, load, and store product and components to ensure the production plan is met.
Required to ensure the timely and accurate dispatch of finished products, including document completion and data logging of shipments.
Troubleshoot and resolve warehouse issues in a quick and effective manner to contribute to the achievement of site performance targets.
Working within a 95% completion target of reject certificates and sample requests to ensure no delays of batch releases.
Have active involvement in promoting site safety culture, raising safe and unsafe conditions or acts through the correct channels.
Liaise with third-party contractors to efficiently manage waste control and site hygiene standards.
Experience: Previous experience of working within a warehouse environment (although not essential).
FLT license is essential.
Ideally competent in SAP processing.
Experience working in a regulated industry desirable (i. e., Pharma, Food, Aerospace).
Communicator/motivator/team player.
Able to deliver high performance standards.
High attention to detail required.
