Radiant Renewables are a leading provider of renewable solutions committed to creating a sustainable and eco‑friendly future. We specialise in the design, installation, and maintenance of renewable systems that help our clients reduce their carbon emissions and minimise their environmental impact.
We are seeking an experienced Renewable Heating Engineer based in Sleaford, traveling to customer sites primarily in the Midlands, to install and maintain Air Source Heat Pump systems and general heating systems.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake general renewable heating duties including site surveys, installations, handovers, repairs, servicing and associated works.
- Install domestic heating systems in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions, industry best practice codes and legislation.
- Adhere to manufacturer’s instructions when servicing, repairing or installing appliances.
- Record completed works and maintain accurate records of work carried out, including pictures, measurements and calculations where appropriate.
- Collaborate with engineers and other company employees to ensure smooth delivery of all projects.
- Represent the company appropriately when travelling and on‑site, consulting with clients to provide recommendations and advice.
- Carry out any other general heating works required.
- Experienced plumbing and heating engineer with comprehensive knowledge of central heating systems (City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 required).
- Experience installing Air Source Heat Pumps to MCS standard.
- Experience installing and working with underfloor heating systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, find faults and diagnose system issues.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Willingness to work to the highest industry standards.
- Full and clean driving licence (and ability to travel where required).
- CSCS and Gas Safe cards are advantageous.
- Highly experienced individuals, even if they do not meet all requirements, are still encouraged to apply.
