We’re looking for an experienced Training & Competence Manager to join our team at Radiant. In this role, you’ll provide oversight and structure to the training and competence framework for our financial planners, ensuring they achieve and maintain competence through tailored development and training programs.
You’ll play a key part in onboarding new advisers, managing T&C processes, and delivering engaging training sessions—both one-to-one and group-based. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about compliance, development, and driving best practice across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage the attaining competence process for all certified staff
- Oversee T&C processes for supervisors and annual competence assessments
- Deliver induction programs and support onboarding for new advisers
- Consult with HR and Compliance to maintain adviser competence
- Manage training and development needs, including the Chartered Programme
- Arrange and deliver CPD sessions and technical training
- Conduct adviser observations and provide feedback
- Support Consumer Duty implementation and compliance requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a Training & Competence role within Financial Services (preferably adviser sector)
- Strong knowledge of FCA regulations, SMCR, and best practice in T&C
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to build relationships and influence at all levels
- Confident presenter with strong communication skills
