What You’ll Be Doing
As a Trainee Paraplanner, you’ll work with experienced paraplanners and financial planners to learn how great advice is built — from research and report writing to client interaction and regulatory standards. You’ll:
- Draft basic suitability reports (e.g., withdrawals, top-ups, switches, Bed & Isa).
- Learn how to conduct fund analysis and calculate relevant tax figures.
- Collect required documentation including illustrations and application forms.
- Liaise with clients and professional contacts under supervision.
- Support the implementation of advice and ensure key compliance requirements are met.
What You’ll Bring
We’re not looking for the finished article — we’re looking for potential, drive, and a great attitude.
- Some experience in financial services (admin, support, or customer-facing roles welcome).
- You’ve made a start on your Level 4 Diploma (at least 1–2 modules completed).
- An eagerness to build technical knowledge in pensions, investments, and tax planning.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to stay organised.
- A desire to grow within a structured, supportive training environment like the Radiant Academy.
- A team mindset and strong attention to detail.
