We are looking for a Mortgage and Protection Advisor to join our growing team working out of our Newcastle office. You will identify and provide mortgage advice to clients, and maintain relationships with those clients in order to achieve their goals and aspirations for their mortgage needs.
Key Accountabilities Include:
- Identifying and engaging suitable clients, in part through developing a network of connections leading to client recruitment.
- Proactively provide on-going advice to clients (both self-sourced and those provided by internal and external Business Partnering) taking account of the regulatory and legislative environment.
- Working in a team with the support staff, ensuring client needs and circumstances are executed in a timely manner and follow Radiant process standards.
- On an on-going basis identify and develop new opportunities with existing clients to ensure that all their needs are met, along with spotting opportunities for any client referrals to other areas of the business.
- Responsible for maintaining competence and keeping up to date on legislation as an advisor through qualifications, attendance at conferences and training in both mortgage and protection specialisms.
Person Specification
Experience:
- Experience of working within a whole of market environment.
- Proven mortgage and protection advice experience.
- Must have CAS status.
Required Qualifications:
- CeMAP
- Lifetime Mortgage Qualification (CeRER) desirable.
Skills / Personal Attributes:
- Honesty and integrity.
- Sound technical advising knowledge to current legislative, industry, products and corporate standards.
- Sound problem solving skills, taking a client focused approach.
- Highly motivated, especially with regards to personal and professional development.
