About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Corporate Benefits Consultant to join our growing team. In this key client-facing role, you’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of corporate clients and delivering expert consulting services across pensions, employee benefits, wellbeing, communications, and online services.
You’ll also play a pivotal role in generating and converting new business opportunities – both from your existing client base and new leads.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Management
- Develop and implement strategic benefit plans tailored to client needs.
- Lead on annual pension governance and regular reviews of group risk and private medical insurance (PMI).
- Collaborate with advisor teams to identify and deliver new opportunities within the corporate client portfolio.
New Business Development
- Increase the value of your existing client portfolio through proactive relationship management.
- Introduce and convert new leads and opportunities into long-term clients.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of new business opportunities.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure all client activity adheres to FCA regulations and internal compliance standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client agreements and documentation.
- Keep detailed records in the CRM system to ensure consistency and transparency.
Additional Duties
- Constructive criticism to thought leadership, encouraging best practice initiatives.
- Employees will also be required from time to time to carry out other work allocated to them by their line manager.
What We’re Looking For
Knowledge & Expertise
- Strong technical and legislative knowledge of DC pensions, group risk, and group PMI.
- In-depth understanding of auto-enrolment legislation, pension governance, and wellbeing strategies.
- Familiarity with digital benefits platforms and HR technology solutions.
Experience & Qualifications
- Substantial experience working in group risk, healthcare, and/or pensions.
- Proven experience managing a corporate benefits portfolio.
- RDR-compliant qualifications are highly desirable.
