DISCOVER YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a Solutions Engineer, reporting directly to the UK Sales Manager. The Technical Solutions Engineer is a technical expert who has in-depth knowledge of the defense market, various associated applications and equipment as well as a strong understanding of the company’s products and technologies. Its role is cross functional and covers all entities within the group. The Technical Solutions Engineer plays a key role in developing sales by providing technical expertise to clients, building a trusted relationship with them.

Your missions will be to :

  • Provide technical support & expertise to sales.

  • Conduct technical demonstrations, addressing customer enquiries, resolving technical issues.

  • Identify potential synergies between different entities based on targeted applications.

  • Act as the interface between local technical support teams within the Business Units, the local sales team and the customers, to understand customer’s needs and present tailored technical solutions to meet those needs.

  • Work closely with internal teams such as the Field Application Engineer (FAE) and Product Managers to ensure that proposed solutions are feasible and meet the customer’s requirements.

  • Contribute to the product roadmaps of differents Business Units.

  • Provide market information to the defense Market Manager.

  • Share gathered data on competition, customer needs, programmes, and associated stakeholders with the BU’s

YOUR ASSETS

You have a dual engineering/commercial background and over 10 years of experience.

Background in Radio Frequency and Optical connectivity technologies.

English native speaker. French language would be a plus.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment. Ability and willingness to travel at least 30% for customer meeting and opportunity development.

This is a hybrid role, flexibility to work partly remotely and from the office. Candidates will ideally be based within the Home Counties.
