- Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality.
- Lead and support skilled craft teams, offering technical guidance and hands‑on problem‑solving.
- Liaise with clients, site managers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project progression.
- Review drawings, specifications, and samples to ensure technical clarity prior to commencement.
- Monitor programmes, labour, and materials, adjusting resources to meet deadlines.
- Carry out quality checks at key stages to ensure finishes meet Radford Studios’ standards.
- Maintain accurate site records and report on progress, risks, and variations.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Represent Radford Studios professionally, championing craftsmanship and quality finishes.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A passion for craftsmanship and delivering high-quality finishes.
- A solutions-focused, practical mindset with the confidence to step in when required.
- A background in hands‑on trades (plastering, specialist or decorative finishes, or similar) or site management with strong experience delivering finishing packages.
- Proven experience managing multiple construction or finishing projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience guiding craft or site teams.
- The ability and willingness to work hands‑on when projects require additional expert support.
- Excellent understanding of finish-related packages, including plastering and decoration.
- Strong technical knowledge, with the ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and method statements.
- An organised, proactive approach with the ability to resolve issues quickly on detail-driven, fast-moving projects.
- A commitment to high standards of quality, craftsmanship, and site safety.
