Your Role
- As a Care Assistant, you’ll provide one-to-one, person-centred care for older adults in their homes.
- Every day will be different — you might be:
- Supporting clients to enjoy outings, such as afternoon tea at M&S café or a trip to Whitby for fish and chips.
- Helping with personal care and daily routines.
- Providing medication support.
- Assisting with mobility needs, including safe manual handling, movement, and transfers.
- Carrying shopping or household items when needed.
- Kneeling or supporting yourself in low positions for periods when assisting clients.
