Our amazing Care Workers are the kind of people who love to help others get the most out of life. You’ll be caring for older people in their own homes, supporting them in various ways, including:
- Personal care
- Taking people out and about
- Doing the weekly shop
- Medication support
You don’t need any previous experience to join our Radfield Home Care team in the Guildford or Woking area as a Care Worker. You’ll receive all the training you need. You will need a UK driver’s licence, be over the age of 18, and have access to a vehicle.
We’d also love to hear from you if you’ve got previous care experience in roles such as caregiver, care home worker, support worker, healthcare assistant, care assistant, carer, and care home professional.
Hours of Work: We are currently looking to recruit evening Care Workers on a part-time basis. These can be flexible to fit in with your availability. You can choose to work on certain days of the week or consecutive days. If you have availability any time from 4pm in the evenings or could work up to 10.30pm (or both), we would love to hear from you.
We’re proud to care for our carers. We offer flexible working hours and paid mileage, as well as travel pay in between each visit at the same rate as care. You also get company paid holiday and pension entitlement, free uniform, paid training, and a free DBS check. We are a Living Wage Foundation employer.
With the payments in between visits added to our Care Worker hourly pay rate, the average hourly pay is as follows:
- Monday to Friday: £14.00 (average £17.50 for every hour spent providing care)
- Saturday / Sunday: £15.00 (average £18.75 for every hour spent providing care)
- Bank holidays: £28.00 + £30.00
