Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.
- Support clients in engaging with their community and pursuing interests that matter to them.
Requirements
- Experience in home care or a related field is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a good command of English.
- Ability to develop and follow care plans effectively.
- A compassionate approach with a genuine desire to help others.
- A valid driver's license is beneficial for travel between client homes.
