We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Care Assistant to support our Female Clients in Bath, Radstock & Keynsham. In this role, you will provide essential support to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.

Eligibility

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. The role requires contact with vulnerable clients and will be subject to enhanced DBS disclosure and satisfactory references.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well‑being.
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.
  • Support clients in engaging with their community and pursuing interests that matter to them.

Requirements

  • Experience in home care or a related field is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a good command of English.
  • Ability to develop and follow care plans effectively.
  • A compassionate approach with a genuine desire to help others.
  • A valid driver's licence is beneficial for travel between client homes.
