About The Role

Radfield Home Care is seeking compassionate, dedicated, and professional Live-in Care Professional to join our growing team.

As a Live-in Care Professional, you will live in a client's home and provide high-quality, person-centred care that promotes independence, dignity, and wellbeing.

Every client is unique, and your responsibilities will be tailored to their individual needs as outlined in their Care Plan.

  • Key Information
  • Daily break of 2 hours
  • Minimum commitment of a 2-week on / 2-week off rotation
  • Right to work in the UK required
  • Non-smoker preferred
  • Comfortable working within a shared household environment
  • Ability to support a client living alongside their partner where required
  • Able to supply 2 recent employment references and 2 character references

What We're Looking For

  • Physically able to meet the demands of care work, including bending, lifting, stretching, kneeling, walking, stair use, and manual handling activities.
  • Emotionally resilient and able to manage the challenges associated with care work, including supporting clients through illness, bereavement, and complex situations.
  • Caring, patient, compassionate, and respectful.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and flexible.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a wider care team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong record-keeping and reporting skills.
  • Ability to prepare and cook a variety of nutritious meals.
  • Relevant Care qualifications
  • Ability to respond appropriately in emergency situations.
  • Previous experience within live-in care or the wider health and social care sector.

  • Provide person-centred care in accordance with individual Care Plans.
  • Support clients with daily living activities while promoting independence and dignity.
  • Assist with mobility and the safe use of equipment and aids.
