Our amazing senior care assistants are roll-your-sleeves-up, supportive, positive, honest, warm and committed kind of people. The kind of people who love to help others get the most out of life. As well as caring for older people in their own homes, supporting them in all sorts of ways, you will be supporting the care team to ensure that high standards of care practice are maintained through conducting spot checks, competency checks and observations. You will support the Care Manager in operating the on-call system and provide leadership and in-field training & supervision to new members of the care team.

You will also need a UK driver’s licence, be over the age of 18 and have access to a vehicle. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. The role requires contact with vulnerable clients and therefore all roles will be subject to enhanced DBS disclosure and satisfactory references.

We’re proud to Care for our Carers. We offer all the things you’d expect, like flexible working hours, paid mileage and travel time. And some things you might not expect, like the fact we pay travel at the same rate as care – you won’t find that with all providers. You also get company paid holiday, sick pay scheme and pension entitlement. Free uniform and free DBS check. We are one of the very few Living Wage Foundation employers in Bath.
